Roy Stecker brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in technology as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and dedicated education advocate. A United States Air Force Veteran with 14 years of service, Roy earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Butler University. Throughout his career, he has built high performing teams, led large-scale software initiatives, and cultivated cultures rooted in collaboration, innovation, and measurable results.

Roy's passion for educational equity is deeply personal.  As the father of a daughter who received special education services through an IEP for many years, he became her strongest advocate, working tirelessly to navigate evaluations, secure resources, and ensure she had the opportunity to thrive.  This journey sharpened his understanding of how systems work and deepened his commitment to making them more accessible and supportive for students and families.

At EDbright, Roy brings his combined expertise in leadership, technology, and advocacy to help empower individuals with epilepsy and build clear, confident pathways toward their futures.

Crista Liggett is Board Member and a Ball State University graduate with a BS in Communications and Journalism. She began her career in secondary education and has 30+ graduate hours in Reading Education.  Over 20 years ago she decided to change her path and made a departure from secondary education to pursue her passion in the aesthetics industry.  She is now an experienced professional in the Medical Aesthetics field.  Since 2009, Crista has served as the Aesthetics Director and Cosmetic Surgical Coordinator at Chegar Facial Plastic Surgery.  Her areas of expertise include training, consulting, marketing, and aesthetics.  Crista is the parent of a child who had an IEP and worked with the First Steps program for 5 years.
